Load Control
To guarantee a comfortable safe flight, it is required to calculate the maximum legal take-off weight of a given aircraft in terms of passengers, baggage, cargo, post, fuel and operating conditions. It is also required to locate and distribute these so that the aircraft remains “in balance” during flight. These calculations are done in one of the sub-sections of the Ground Handling Section known as the Load Control Section.
Having passed different training courses and programs for different types of aircraft, the technical operators who work in this section are able to calculate accurately the maximum weight and inform the pilot
