Iran Air Public Relations In-Flight Entertainment and Audio-visual Department
Iran Air in-flight entertainment dates back to 1976 when Boeing 747 aircraft were introduced to its fleet. These aircraft are equipped with audio-visual and are capable of screening films and playing music during the flights.
Before 2001, technical and specialized operations of the audio-visual systems of Iran Air fleet were carried out in London.

However, by opening the in-flight Entertainment and Audio-Visual Department in Iran Air Public relations, the required technology and facilities were purchased and audio-visual studio was set up in Iran Air. In-flight Entertainment department has started it operation since 2001.
All the technical and specialized operations of audio-visual systems in Iran Air fleet are carried out in this department, including transformation, recording and duplication of movies and documentaries that have been chosen for the flights and also selection , edition and preparation of flight music (seat music, boarding music), and composition of different music clips to be played on the flight.
It is also responsibility of  this department to make advertising documentaries, advertising teasers, and to shoot different pictures throughout the company and to do business and advertising photography.
